FAQs

What vaccinations are required?

All dogs entering the facility are required to be up to date on their Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper/Parvo combination vaccines. We do accept titer testing as well.

Although not required, we recommend your dog is vaccinated for leptospirosis and is on regular flea/tick prevention medication as they will be hiking with us. Please consult with your veterinarian to see what is best for your pet.

What does my dog do all day in daycare?

Your dog will get to experience the local hiking trails, as well as explore 100 acres of private land with us both on and off-leash (if not okay off-leash we use 20ft long lines). In addition, they will have leashed walks, 1-on-1 playtime with staff, and play with other dogs (no more than 1 other dog at a time).

In between all of this exercise, your dog will have their own large indoor run to decompress and rest so they do not become overstimulated. Each dog has their own water dish to prevent spreading bacteria. We rotate through which dogs are hiking/walking, playing with staff, and playing with other dogs to ensure they have a positive, safe experience.

What do you do in the event of a medical emergency?

Safety is our first priority always, for both dogs and staff. If your dog is suffering from injury or illness while in our care, we will first contact you and then your emergency contacts. If needed we will take your dog to the vet. You are responsible for any costs associated.

What are the requirements for daycare?

All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, be at least 4 months old, have had a behaviour consultation prior to their first day. Contact us to set up a consultation!
